The Testimony of Dima to the Orphans:

Dima is a very interesting man he works as a nuclear scientist in Kharkov Ukraine, he sends the satellites up into space among other things. But we are not permitted to talk about what goes on there, all very hush hush.

Dima’s wife Galya was a Christian at the time that she invited Dima to go to church with her, she told him that an American pastor was preaching in her church that day. So Dima thought that he would go along and maybe he could pick up a few words of English from this man, but he got more than he bargained for that day, because he heard the good news of the gospel message and got saved.

Later in life God showed him a need among orphans and called Dima and his family to serve in the orphanages and sanatoriums.
This ministry is one of the most touching areas of the work that I have ever had the privilege to be involved in said Dima.

He has a heart that is full of love and compassion for these very precious  children. Because without help they have no hope, either in this world or in the world to come.

He works with children who’s parents are drunks, drug addicts, robbers, thieves, prostitutes, many of the children have no parents at all, some have parents but they are in prison.

When Dima first went to the orphans it was Easter and he asked them, what does Easter mean to you, the orphans said painted eggs and getting them blessed by the priest.

Now when Dima goes to them and asks them about Easter, the children tell him that Easter is a great time of victory, because Jesus left Heaven and came to this earth to die for our sins, and if we trust in him he will save us and one day we will be in heaven with him.

That’s what it’s all about, getting the children to know and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, for whom to know means life eternal. They may have no hope in this life, but Dima intends to make sure that they have hope in the next life.

John 3 v 16 Jesus Said, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whiosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
