Joe Beggs' Testimony:

My name is Joseph Beggs I was born in Belfast in Northern Ireland and I became a born-again-Christian at the age of 29 on the 12th September 1988.

I was saved at home that day when the Lord Jesus Christ showed me that I was a sinner and that I was like the leper Naaman and that if I did not repent then all I had in life was death and hell. I repented that day after reading Jeremiah verse 13 chapter 29 which says, And ye shall seek me and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

I had always thought that you just needed to attend church to be a Christian but that verse pierced my heart my very soul and showed me that was not the case, that repentance must come before salvation. I then became involved in teaching Sunday school at my local Evangelical church and eventually became youth leader as well. I also felt the Lords guidance for me to preach the gospel and I have done this on many occasions and witnessed many precious souls young and old saved for the Lord.

I then felt the Lord guiding me to be involved in missionary work and that is when I became involved with Faith in Action Missions. I have been to the Ukraine on mission trips were I have had the joy of again witnessing and seeing many precious souls won for the Lord. I always enjoy and feel blessed and privileged to be involved in this part of the harvest field were I get the opportunity to preach, take children’s meetings and sing for the Lord. I like to relax at home by writing, singing and recording Christian music to put on the internet or to use in churches to comfort and lead others to faith in Jesus Christ.

No matter what I do I believe that Christ should be first and foremost and that He alone should be seen in every aspect of our lives. . All praise and all honour to the King of Kings.
