The Testimony of Victor Dudka:
Victor came to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ when he was a young boy. He was born and brought up in Kharkov Ukraine which in those days part of the ex Soviet Union.
When he left school and went to college he suffered persecution at the hands of some people all because he was a Christian.
Eventually this persecution turned nasty as they tried to kill him by stabbing him with a knife and leaving him to die, but he survived the attack and when he was better he returned to the college, but they would not allow him back into the college.
Not long after this God called him to go and serve him in the prisons of Kharkov, but God asked him a question.
If you were to meet the man who persecuted you could you forgive him ?
Victor did not know if he could forgive him, but he went along to prison anyway and guess who he met, that’s right the man who tried to kill him.
So Victor looked at him and told him the he forgave him for trying to kill him, and that he loved him in Jesus name
God blessed his ministry, today he serves in 7 prisons, working with the very worst that society has to offer.
He goes to the prisons each day with his faithful wife and team of workers, and there they preach the gospel to those who are lost in their sin. Many precious souls are being saved and won for the Lord in these places, and later on they are being Baptised in an old rusty skip in the middle of the prison yard.
When they have served their time and have been released from prison they then move into the rehabilitation centres that have been built, and then they become members of one of the local churches.
It’s a wonderful work that needs your support and prayers, so please pray for Victor and Nadia and their ongoing work in the prisons.
